We have invested a lot of resources and efforts into making our post-harvest operations more efficient and productive. Technological advancements are always one of the key factors looked at by our Research & Development team when discussing new ways of improving.

Manual grade selection and bunching has been replaced with automatic processes in our carnation operation. We have been able to increase the number of carnations processed per hour by 2 times, whilst reducing the amount of man hours needed at post-harvest positions. This represents an increase in efficiency of more than 50%.
